Hi friends,

I’m 38.

After 12 years as a lawyer, I walked away from the comfort and safety of a legal career to start my own company.

Why give up a secure life? Why step into the unknown?

Today, I want to share my story—and the “ACT” framework that helped me make this life-changing decision.

The Dream Deferred

Ten years ago, I first felt the entrepreneurial itch. The desire was there, but everything else wasn't:

  • No clear business idea
  • No connections
  • No startup capital
  • No practical know-how

When I told to my boss, he offered me a job instead.

I took it. And honestly? I’m grateful—I needed those years to grow.

Sometimes the best decisions aren't about charging forward—they're about strategic patience.

Fast forward to today.  The difference wasn't just time—it was preparation:

  • I developed a crystal-clear vision AND implementation plan
  • I built systems and frameworks that actually work
  • I accumulated resources to weather the inevitable storms
  • I developed the courage to fail repeatedly until I succeeded

This time, I wasn't just daydreaming. I am armed and ready.

Your Decision-Making Blueprint: The ACT Framework

Here’s what made the difference: my ACT framework for decision making.

A – Aim

What's your true objective?

Not what others expect—what do YOU actually want?

Most people stay stuck because they're chasing someone else's definition of success.

If you don’t know where you’re heading, any road can lead you astray.

Take a moment: write down your real objective—no fluff, just honesty.

C – Clarity

Get clear on your options.

What are the facts? What’s just noise?

Filter out guilt, “shoulds,” and outside opinions.

Ask yourself: “If I were advising my best friend, what would I say?”

T – Timing

The right timing changes everything.

Sometimes, moving too soon means missing out or making messy mistakes.

Other times, patience brings perfect alignment.

Ask yourself: “Is now the moment, or should I wait for a better opening?”

Like in dating, the right person at the wrong time is still the wrong move.

But when that moment arrives? Move decisively.

Don’t get stuck in endless waiting—momentum beats perfection.

Your Decision is Waiting

Where in your life are you playing it safe when you should be playing seriously?

  • A relationship that's comfortable but not fulfilling?
  • A career that pays the bills but drains your soul?
  • A dream you keep postponing until "someday"?

Know someone struggling with a big decision? Forward this — it might be exactly what they need to hear right now.

To bold choices and new beginnings,

P.S. I would love to hear from you.  Share your story or comments with me. I will reply as best as I can.
